At Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health Service we employ resident doctors, from intern to advanced trainee level, in roles across the hospital- including General Practice, Emergency, Intensive Care, Aged Care, Paediatrics, Rehabilitation Medicine, General Medicine and General Surgery, Anaesthetics, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry and in the “General Resident Pool”.

Since 2008 all PGY2 positions have been appointed to Pre-vocational Training Networks established by IMET. In 2009 Hornsby Ku-ring-gai, and Mona Vale & Manly Hospitals constitute Network 6 within Northern Sydney and Central Coast Area Health.

You may also contact the Resident Support Unit for information about overseas recruitment to HKHS. The unit actively recruits staff from overseas and manages both the Immigration and NSW Medical Board processes.
